Key Cucine marks its evolution

In 2025 too, the Milano Design Week confirmed itself as the main appointment for the design universe and beyond. It was a bustling week in Milan, which always manages to intertwine different worlds, visions and languages. The audience’s enthusiasm actualized itself in over 360,000 people taking part in the Italian design week, and in more than 1,000 widespread events in the main Milan region. From the Triennale in Brera, to Alcova at the new Porta Venezia hub, Milan became the stage of multiple suggestions, in a cluster of different industries and universes. 

The topic “Mondi Connessi” (Connected Worlds) - fil rouge of this 2025 edition - inspired deep reflections on the boundaries between physical and digital, intimate and collective, natural and artificial. Design has become a space where the opposites dialogue, to create new meanings encompassing aesthetics, function and culture. 

There is a growing need for authentic textures, with natural surfaces and imperfect finishes showing the passing of time, their craftsmanship and their memories. Running parallel to this, technology surrenders its spectacular nature to become invisible. By simplifying interfaces, innovation improves the quality of life without invading it. Sustainability frees itself from rhetoric to translate into concrete choices - regenerated materials, circular production cycles, new responsible consumption models. 

Key Cucine took part in the Milano Design Week 2025 with the new Tai_O Evolution, showcased in its Brera showroom. A kitchen reinterpreting contemporary trends and bridging cultures, with Eastern accents combined to a deeply Italian soul, conveyed through craftsmanship and an accurate material selection. Stars of the projects were the smoked glass layered counter, adding a touch of lightness and sophistication to the ensemble, and the Calce del Brenta wall panelling, in this natural material that pays homage to the company’s Venetian roots, and creates a deep connection between memory and innovation. Key Cucine’s technical and design sensibility drew the attention of many architects, designers and enthusiasts, confirming its central role in the design scene.
