Archiplan Studio draws inspiration from the landscape of the Mantuan plain to create an architecture defined by simplicity. Ghiroldi Design shapes the interiors through wood, light and pure forms. The Key Cucine kitchen becomes a natural, understated part of the project.
At first glance, it is the concrete that speaks. The rough texture of the prefabricated structure, the white corrugated metal roof and the clean geometry of the building recall the agricultural structures scattered across the Po Valley. Yet at Casa GA, in Gazzo Bigarello, this heritage is not simply reproduced. It is reimagined. Archiplan Studio takes the most fundamental elements of rural architecture — materials, proportions and the relationship with the land — and brings them into a contemporary home, where the boundary between architecture and landscape is deliberately blurred. Arches open the house towards the outdoors, allowing light to become an integral part of the design. Inside, the atmosphere grows quieter. Ghiroldi Design takes a pared-back approach, creating an almost suspended sense of space through a carefully selected range of materials and a restrained colour palette. Natural Bleached Elm meets matt white, while furnishings become pure, sculptural forms, free from anything unnecessary.
It is within this language of quietness, proportion and texture that the Key Cucine kitchen finds its place. cucina Key Cucine.
Bleached Elm gives the kitchen its distinctive character, introducing warmth into a space defined by white surfaces and natural light. Monochromatic finishes and clean lines create a discreet visual presence, allowing the kitchen to feel like an integral part of the home rather than a separate feature. Not an object designed to attract attention, but an essential element of the architecture itself. The kitchen follows the same philosophy that runs throughout the project: everything has a purpose, nothing is excessive. Wood brings warmth, white enhances the light, and simple geometries define the spaces. Beyond the generous openings, the surrounding landscape remains a constant presence, becoming part of everyday living.
Casa GA embraces a quieter vision of contemporary living, shaped by the understated beauty of natural materials and the elegance of thoughtful proportions. A home that reminds us that creating something new does not always mean adding more. Sometimes, it simply means looking more closely at what is already there.
